Job Details
- Dedicated regional battery delivery account
- Starting location: Atlanta, GA
- Deliver palletized auto batteries with multi-stop routes
- Service area includes Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Florida
- Driver unloads using a liftgate and electric pallet jack
- Assigned automatic Freightliner sleeper cabs
- Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire , with endorsement assistance available
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- Must be at least 22 years old
- Must obtain a Hazmat endorsement within 60 days of hire
- No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, subject to restrictions
- No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
- FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse profile required before hire
- Must meet federal English-language proficiency requirements
- Clean driving record
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Ability to safely operate liftgate equipment and electric pallet jacks
