About this role
The HSE Specialist will develop, maintain, and support health, safety, and environmental programs in alignment with NOV's HSE Management System, internal standards, and regulatory requirements. Acting as the central point of contact for all HSE matters, the specialist will lead training, audits, risk assessments, incident investigations, and support emergency response while fostering a culture of safety across the facility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years HSE experience in an industrial environment.
- OSHA 10/30‑hour General Industry trainer certification preferred.
- Professional HSE certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Forms).
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record per NOV policy.
- Ability to lead risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
