About this role
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or any other major with quantitative course work.
- Actively pursuing actuarial exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data compilation, validation, reconciliation and analysis.
- Analysis for reserving for technical provisions.
- Analysis for pricing and underwriting review.
- Analysis for solvency review.
- Support on other actuarial tasks.
- Support on producing IFRS 17 disclosures, performing reviews and validation against IFRS 4.
- Reinsurance analysis and support.
- Other general consulting work.
- Any development work assigned from time to time.
Skills:
- Good expertise in MS Office (excel and power point in particular).
- Fair knowledge of software such as SAS, R etc..
- Experience of working for the GCC / Middle East market will be an advantage.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
