This listing is for one paid task in the Kled app: "Suspected Fake or Altered Receipts". There is no interview and no minimum hours: download the app, open the task, and you are paid per accepted submission.

What you will do

Got a receipt that looks fake or edited? Photograph it, plus a real receipt from a similar shop, and point at what looks wrong.

Steps

- Photograph the receipt you think has been altered
- Photograph a genuine receipt from the same or a similar merchant
- Draw a box around the part that looks wrong
- Write one line on why
- Submit both together

What gets rejected

- Do not alter a receipt yourself to create an example
- Do not send the suspect one alone
- Do not guess without marking a region

Accepted: Suspicious receipt plus a genuine comparison receipt, both full and readable, with the suspect region marked.

Pay

$2.50 per accepted pair. At a typical pace of about 5 minutes per pair, that is about $30 per hour. A 20-minute session of about 4 pairs pays about $10.00. One pair of receipts per submission. You are paid per accepted submission (piecework, independent contractor); submissions that break the rules are not paid. Payouts are made in the app (PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet).

Where and when

Open worldwide: the task runs in 100+ countries. Remote, on your own schedule. Independent contractor, piecework; this is not an employment position.

What you need

- An iPhone running iOS 18.6 or later (the Kled app is iPhone-only right now)
- 18 or older
- Your own writing, typed in the app

How to start

- Download Kled from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/kled/id6752585718 (also at kled.ai/app).
- Create your account and open Tasks.
- Search "Suspected Fake or Altered Receipts", read the brief and follow the on-screen steps.
- Submit. Accepted submissions are paid in the app.
