role

Compensation: $150,000–$175,000 annually

Work arrangement: Field-based, with office and planning responsibilities

Employment: Full-time

Build a Houston field operation that installs residential battery storage systems safely, consistently, and at a high standard. Dynamic EcoHome is looking for a hands-on operating leader who can turn daily priorities into reliable crew performance, solve problems at the job site, and develop people who can take on greater responsibility.

This role owns Houston field execution across residential energy storage and related electrical work. You will work closely with the Director of Field Operations, Installation Operations, project coordination, warehouse, safety, and customer-facing teams. The work is visible and consequential: your decisions affect crew capacity, installation quality, customer commitments, and the team’s ability to scale.

What You’ll Own

- Daily field execution across safety, quality, productivity, schedule, labor utilization, and customer experience.
- Crew capacity, assignments, readiness, job-site sequencing, and installation throughput in the Houston market.
- Clear field standards, pre-job readiness, quality checks, and corrective actions for battery storage installations.
- Coaching, performance conversations, and development plans for field employees, crew leads, and emerging supervisors.
- Early identification of constraints, repeat work, safety risks, material gaps, and preventable delays.
- Accurate performance visibility and practical improvement plans.

What You’ll Do

- Spend regular time with crews and at job sites; observe work, remove barriers, and verify standards.
- Set clear daily and weekly priorities, assign ownership, and follow through until commitments are complete.
- Review field results and take prompt action on safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and customer issues.
- Coach employees in the moment and create development steps that build technical skill and leadership readiness.
- Lead root-cause reviews of rework, missed appointments, installation delays, and recurring defects.
- Coordinate labor, materials, tools, permits, job scope, and schedule with internal partners.
- Maintain practical operating routines, documentation, dashboards, and escalation paths.
- Recommend staffing and capacity changes based on demand, demonstrated performance, and market constraints.

What You Bring

- Significant experience leading field teams in electrical contracting, residential energy, battery storage, backup power, generators, EV charging, HVAC, construction, or a comparable service operation.
- A record of improving measurable field outcomes such as productivity, first-time quality, cycle time, safety, customer satisfaction, or rework.
- Experience supervising crew leads, technicians, installers, electricians, or field supervisors.
- Strong working knowledge of job-site safety, work planning, quality control, and field scheduling.
- Ability to read operating data, make timely decisions, and translate priorities into clear action.
- A track record of coaching employees, addressing performance directly, and identifying people ready for more responsibility.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the Houston market.
- Battery storage experience is valuable; direct solar experience is not required.

How You Lead

You take ownership of results, act promptly when something is off track, and communicate expectations plainly. You stay close enough to the work to understand the real constraint, then build a repeatable fix. You set a high bar while treating people with dignity and investing in their growth.

First 90 Days

- Build credibility with crews and internal partners; learn the products, workflows, and safety requirements.
- Establish a baseline for safety, quality, throughput, labor utilization, rework, schedule performance, and customer issues.
- Identify the highest-impact Houston constraints and assign owners and deadlines to corrective actions.
- Implement field communication and coaching routines that improve consistency.
- Present a prioritized plan for stronger capacity, quality, and employee development.
