## Job Summary:

Ever wonder what it takes to deliver some of the world's most ambitious engineering and construction projects? From the engineers designing complex solutions, to the procurement teams sourcing critical equipment, and the construction professionals bringing it all together, there are extraordinary people and stories behind everything Bechtel builds.  Are you ready to uncover these stories? Excited about turning some of the most complex ideas into communications that people want to read, watch, and share? If so, this may be the job for you.

Bechtel is looking for an EPC Functions Communications Specialist to help tell the stories of the people, expertise, and capabilities that power our business. You'll support communications for our core enterprise functions, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Project Controls, Quality, and Environmental Safety & Health, which serve our Global Business Units (GBUs) and projects around the world. This is a hands-on opportunity to work at the center of a global organization, helping employees stay informed, supporting functional leaders, and showcasing the expertise that makes Bechtel's work possible. You'll help create content for internal and external audiences, from employee announcements and leadership presentations to feature stories, social posts, videos, and industry communications. You'll help uncover stories, gather information, draft materials, coordinate approvals, and keep communications activities organized and moving forward. We're looking for a talented writer and creative thinker who is curious, organized, and eager to learn. Someone who asks great questions, pays attention to details, takes initiative, and enjoys turning complex information into clear, engaging content. You don't need to know everything about engineering and construction on day one. You do need to be excited to learn. Bechtel is a values-driven culture. The right candidate will have a "one team" mentality and be ready to jump in and maximize communication efforts across the enterprise. Are you bold enough to build what’s next? Join us: Built by the Bold

- Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in communications, public relations, or a related field and 2-5 years of relevant experience or 6-9 years of relevant work experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, or public relations, in lieu of a degree.
- Must have the right to work in the U.S.

## Required Knowledge and Skills:

Functional:
