As a Data Scientist, you’re excited by the challenge of transforming complex, disparate data into actionable insights and intelligent solutions that drive mission outcomes. As a Data Scientist at Booz Allen, you will help design, develop, and deploy data-driven solutions that power advanced analytics, predictive modeling, decision support, and enterprise AI capabilities.

On our team, you’ll leverage your expertise in data science to create real-world impact. You’ll collaborate closely with internal customers to translate their requirements into analytical frameworks and scalable data solutions. You’ll guide teammates and contribute to the development of methodologies that integrate various data sources, uncover meaningful patterns, incorporate domain knowledge, and generate actionable insights. You’ll use the right combination of tools and technologies to build robust analytical pipelines that improve model performance, enable data-driven decision-making, and support intelligent automation.

Ultimately, you’ll bridge the gap between raw data and operational outcomes, helping clients understand their data, identify opportunities, and apply advanced analytics and AI to solve complex problems. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:

- 3+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
- 3+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
- Experience in data manipulation leveraging R, Python, or SQL or NoSQL
- Experience supporting operational AI, quantitative analyses, and visualization of targeted data sources
- Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs
- Experience with natural language processing, text mining, or machine learning techniques
- Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have:

- Experience with distributed data or computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
- Experience with semantic layer tools such as Cube, dbt Semantic Layer, or Databricks Unity Catalog Semantics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
