Overview:

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. This is a full time, day shift position with a rotating schedule. ​ This position requires on-call with a 30-minute response time.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, four 10-hour shifts with rotating days off.

Call Schedule:

Requires 30 minute response time. 6 to 8 call shifts in a 6 week schedule.

Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center is a magnet recognized site that provides advanced imaging and smart operating rooms. The hospital is a Certified Primary Stroke Center and STEMI Center and offers a full range of medical care including emergency heart catheterization.

The Cath lab at Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical center is comprised of 40 team members including RN's, Echocardiographers, Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists and support staff to ensure the best in care experience that patients have come to expect from SWRMC. The leadership focus is on delivering high-quality care and fostering opportunities for professional development to ensure excellence in cardiovascular services.

Sentara is a career destination for professional nursing. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Education

- Minimum of ASN or RN Diploma (Required)
- BSN or MSN (Preferred)

Certification/Licensure

- RN licensure required
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- ACLS within 1 year

Experience

- Preferred: 1-2 years Cath/EP Lab, Emergency Department or ICU experience.
- RN with cardiac step-down experience will be considered.
- Critical care experience in hospital required
- Manages complex cases in fast-paced environments
- Experience with intra-procedural patient care/monitoring and moderate sedation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
