Associate Space Planner

Tesla has an immediate opportunity for a Space Planner to join the Workplace team in our Sparks, NV location. You will be responsible for assisting with occupancy planning, IWMS maintenance/updates, and general office oversight of multiple Tesla sites spanning the Greater Sparks and Reno areas. The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen, highly effective communication, proven planning skills, and the ability to be a key contributor in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Efficiently manage space requests, relocations, and restack plans in collaboration with the Sr. Space and Occupancy Planner Work closely with the Workplace Operations team to help vet furniture requests and provide layouts for day-to-day operational tasks and installations Scenario planning to efficiently mesh individual move plans into larger wholistic portfolio planning objectives Attend regular Workplace and Project Design meetings providing key updates and critical planning insights Schedule and supervise moves, coordinate with on-site contacts for office changes and floor-plan revisions Maintain accuracy of drawings, allocations, and assignments in the IWMS Highly engaged in outward facing customer communications and coordination efforts

Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupancy Planning directly related to the delivery of commercial office spaces and general moves, adds, and changes Some experience in project management Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience in field verification and as-built documentation Clear understanding of interior code fundamentals relating to Occupied Spaces and Architectural Design Experience with IWMS systems
