What this opportunity involves:

As a Transaction Manager supporting our Government Account, you will take ownership of real estate transaction management services across an allocated client property portfolio. This role sits at the heart of a critical client relationship, requiring end-to-end management of lease events, market rent reviews, make-good negotiations, and new market searches, all while maintaining the highest standards of probity, confidentiality, and compliance. You will work closely with internal teams including Relationship Directors, Property Managers, and National Transaction Managers, as well as external stakeholders such as landlords, valuers, and client-appointed advisors, to ensure every transaction supports the client's operational and strategic property needs. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way for our clients, ourselves, and our fellow employees, and this role offers the opportunity to do exactly that within a government portfolio where precision, trust, and responsiveness matter most.

An overview of the role:

- Manage the comprehensive, end-to-end lifecycle of critical dates and key lease events across your allocated portfolio, in line with client requirements
- Negotiate new leases, renewals, licenses, and other use agreements that support the client's service delivery needs
- Lead the market rent review process, coordinating closely with landlords, their representatives, and client-appointed valuers
- Manage make-good negotiations through to formal settlement, engaging multiple stakeholders concurrently
- Conduct end-to-end new market searches, including external stakeholder engagement, delivery of market presentations with recommendations, and administrative leasing requirements through to execution
- Maintain and update client Occupancy Agreements accurately for all leased properties occupied by client agencies
- Provide property market insight and input into client reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Seek formal client instructions on all transaction matters and maintain confidentiality and audit trails for probity purposes
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders through regular communication and meetings

- Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Clearance and any additional associated entity clearances
- Must be an Australian Citizen
