Red Badge Group is seeking a proactive, reliable individual for our Mobile Patrol team working in Christchurch . This is a permanent day-shift position working Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30am to 6:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daytime patrols across Christchurch and the wider region
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and other callouts as required
- Complete lock and unlock services and site checks
- Attend noise control callouts and support animal management activities
- Carry out customer site visits and maintain strong relationships with clients
- Work closely with operations teams to support day-to-day service delivery
- Assist with fleet maintenance and help ensure vehicles are kept in good condition
- Provide a professional, friendly, and positive Red Badge presence while out in the community
- Accurately report incidents, issues, and any required follow-up
- Follow Red Badge Group’s health & safety requirements and professional standards
Requirements
- Current, clean full NZ driver’s licence
- Demonstrated reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to work independently, use initiative, and adapt to changing situations
- Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and calmness under pressure
- Flexibility for rostered shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Previous experience in mobile patrol, static security, or customer service is an advantage
- Strong observation, reporting, and risk assessment skills
- Eligible to work in New Zealand and at least 18 years of age
- Hold, or be able to obtain, a current NZ COA (Certificate of Approval) security licence
- Physically fit and able to perform mobile patrol and site checks throughout the shift
