Job description

The Senior Data Scientist works closely with local and global teams to develop and deploy AI, machine learning, and data science solutions for customer and internal projects. The role is responsible for translating business requirements into scalable analytical solutions, designing and implementing machine learning and generative AI models, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights. The position collaborates with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive successful solution integration, ensure high-quality project delivery, and promote innovation, best practices, and continuous improvement across the organization.

What your new challenge will look like

·   Own and deliver defined workstreams within Data Science and AI projects, driving measurable business outcomes and enhancing product capabilities.

·   Design, develop, and optimize algorithms, heuristics, machine learning models, and AI solutions to address complex real-world challenges.

·   Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable analytical and technical solutions.

·   Effectively communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.

·   Support the integration and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions into products and operational environments.

·   Collect, process, and analyze large and complex datasets to generate actionable insights and enable data-driven decision-making.

·   Develop and implement machine learning, advanced analytics, and Generative AI solutions across customer and internal initiatives.

·   Prototype, evaluate, deploy, and monitor AI models in production environments, ensuring performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.

·   Create and deliver clear visualizations, dashboards, reports, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.

·   Drive innovation by identifying opportunities to improve methodologies, processes, tools, and AI capabilities beyond project requirements.

·   Promote and contribute to data science best practices, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.

·   Support team success through knowledge sharing, collaboration, mentoring, and maintaining high standards of project delivery.

Why you belong at 4flow

·   Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline.

·   5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), or Digital Supply Chain Consulting.

·   Strong proficiency in Python and commonly used data science, machine learning, and Generative AI frameworks and libraries.

·   Proven experience delivering data-driven solutions and contributing to supply chain optimization and transformation initiatives.

·   Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across business, analytics, and technology functions.

·   Experience working with European customers and stakeholders in international project environments.

·   Strong ownership mindset with accountability for workstreams, deliverables, and project outcomes.

·   Proactive, self-driven, and independent approach to problem-solving and execution.

·   Excellent analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and critical reasoning skills.
