About the Team & Business Line:
The purpose of the Senior International Payments & Investigations Analyst role is to efficiently support the team to meet our payments and client desk investigation requirements. The position requires the managing and resolving of internal & external stakeholder queries, the reconciliation of our multiple nostro accounts and creating/managing investigations with our various correspondent banks. You will also be required to assist the payments team with the timely processing of automated SWIFT and manual payments.
The completion of these functions should assist in the controlled and smooth running of the department in order to meet the service level agreement expected by Citco’s clients.
About You:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payments operations, with SWIFT and ISO 20022 knowledge considered a strong advantage.
- Demonstrated experience approving payments in a controlled, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively.
- Work well under pressure, prioritise competing tasks and consistently meet strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and control standards.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable using banking, payment or workflow systems.
- Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work with internal teams, clients and banking partners.
- Adaptable, proactive team player with a practical approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Sound judgement to escalate issues, risks or delays to Supervisors or Management in a timely manner.
