## Summary of the Role

Are you experienced in full stack development and interested in application security? Join the Engineering Team in Amadeus Security Management as a Full Stack Development Engineer, where you'll develop your expertise across backend services, data, analytics, frontend technologies and DevOps.

You'll contribute to SIGHT (Security InsiGHTs), our strategic extended Security Posture Management (xSPM) platform. SIGHT aggregates, analyzes and visualizes security, compliance and engineering data across the organization.

The platform provides dashboards, reporting and automation that help management, security teams, compliance specialists, DevSecOps teams and engineers monitor and improve security posture.

SIGHT supports Amadeus Security Management by transforming security, compliance and engineering data into actionable metrics and visual dashboards, supporting informed decisions, audits and governance activities.

You'll contribute across Python services and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), data pipelines, Microsoft Power BI dashboards, Microsoft Fabric assets, frontend components and DevOps delivery pipelines.

In This Role You’ll / Your Main Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain SIGHT's Python backend services, frontend components and Representational State Transfer (REST) APIs, creating reliable and maintainable product capabilities.
- Build reporting interfaces, visual analytics, Microsoft Fabric dataflows and pipelines that integrate security, compliance and enterprise data for reliable and scalable reporting.
- Design and implement appropriate Artificial Intelligence (AI)-assisted automation and use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to reduce manual tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Apply Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices using Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins and Podman, while contributing to technical documentation, release notes and production support.
- Collaborate with product management, security specialists, engineering teams and enterprise tool owners to understand requirements, shape roadmap priorities and translate security needs into practical product features.

Common accountabilities

- Take responsibility for agreed SIGHT deliverables, work independently when appropriate, and communicate progress and risks clearly.
- Apply Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practices to deliver high-quality features iteratively.
- Collaborate effectively across security, engineering and operations stakeholder groups.
- Communicate clearly through documentation, demonstrations, stakeholder interactions and support activities.

Experience

- 8–10 years of practical experience in application, tooling, platform, or full stack development, including experience developing solutions using Python.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Podman.
- Knowledge of data engineering concepts, including PySpark, Microsoft Fabric Dataflows, data modelling, analytics workflows, and dashboard-oriented solution design.
- Experience or knowledge of backend and API development using technologies such as FastAPI, Uvicorn/Gunicorn and REST APIs, along with frontend or reporting technologies such as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and JavaScript.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, including storage, Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, security fundamentals and production operations. Familiarity with security-tool integrations and Agile or SAFe environments can support your work in this role.

Qualifications

- Relevant education, training, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering, computer science, systems engineering, information technology, or a related discipline.
- Practical knowledge or experience in secure software development or application security.
- Relevant training or certifications in Python, cloud technologies, DevOps, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or data engineering can complement practical experience.

Reporting line

You will report to the SEU Manager and work closely with the Product Owner, Scrum Master and the SIGHT Scrum team.
