About this role
APAC Media Client Teams
Performance Account Manager
Social or Search track · Pyrmont, Sydney · 50% client leadership, 50% hands-on ·
Reports to Account Director
Where this role fits: Performance Account Managers turn our work into results
on some of Australia's biggest accounts, connecting media, creative and
measurement.
About the Role
Performance Account Managers connect the work to the client. You will lead the
day-to-day client and publisher relationship on some of our largest Australian
accounts, many of them multi-market retail brands, alongside an Account Director.
Half your time is hands-on in your track, Social or Search. You will be paired with a
delivery pod in our Kuala Lumpur hub: you brief the pod, check large campaigns
against the brief before they go live, and make sure tests turn into decisions.
You can build it, optimize it and explain it to the client. Our consultants set best
practice and testing frameworks, so you can focus on results.
Career path: Senior Performance Account Manager, then Account Director as you
take on the commercials for a portfolio of clients.

What You Will Do
Lead the client (50%)
- Be the day-to-day client lead, owning communication, delivery and expectations, and leading weekly and monthly updates and QBR insight.
- Be the first point of escalation on your accounts, and flag risks early.
- Know each client's business, priorities and competitors, lead publisher conversations, and spot growth into new channels and Incubeta solutions.
Deliver the work (50%)
- Turn client objectives into clear briefs and test plans for your KL pod, and check large campaigns against the brief before go-live.
- Build, optimise and report in your track, managing budgets and pacing daily against revenue goals and KPIs.
- Run structured tests and post-campaign analysis with clear, commercial recommendations for the next flight.
- Keep naming, tracking, feeds and measurement healthy with our Centre of
- Excellence, so any account can be audited or handed over.
- Coordinate your channel with the others on the account, and use our automation and AI tools to cut manual work.
Your Track
You will join in one track. Experience in the other is a plus, not a requirement.
Social
● Platforms: Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and TikTok; Pinterest and Snapchat

Search

- and Amazon Ads a plus.
- Campaigns: Search, Shopping, Performance Max and Demand Gen, with
- Merchant Center feed health and disapprovals.
- Optimisation: keyword and query strategy, bidding (tCPA, tROAS) and budget frontloading for promotions.
- Technical: ad customisers, scripts and rules; tracking set-up and testing with GA4 and GTM.
What You Will Bring
- Current, hands-on trading experience in your track: Meta and TikTok for Social, or Google Ads for Search. This is the core requirement.
- 3 to 5+ years in agency or in-house digital, including client-facing work on large or multi-market accounts.
- Confidence explaining performance drivers and recommendations to clients.
- Experience briefing a remote team clearly and accurately.
- Nice to have: the other track, retail or ecommerce, GA4, Looker Studio, feed tools, Google Ads and Meta Blueprint certifications.
- Full working rights in Australia. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong communication and presentation skills; you build trusted client relationships.
- Commercially minded, with a clear grasp of the trade-offs between efficiency and scale.
- Highly organised and diligent across a high volume of priorities, without losing accuracy.
- Analytical, using data to inform decisions and recommendations.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented and calm under pressure, with genuine ownership of outcomes.
- A collaborative team player across multi-disciplinary teams.
