## Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Product Director with deep FinTech expertise to lead Alpha, Inception42's investment and credit AI product. You will own strategy, roadmap, and outcomes for institutional investors, lenders, and financial analysts.

Translate emerging AI capabilities into investment research, due diligence, underwriting support, and portfolio monitoring workflows. Turn fragmented information into reviewable analysis, with clear evidence and user control. Success means accurate work, sustained adoption, and measurable customer value.

You will lead cross-functional teams spanning Design, Engineering, Science, domain experts, and Growth. You will make difficult trade-offs, stay close to customers and product details, and mentor product managers.

## Responsibilities:

Product strategy and discovery
• Define Alpha’s vision, target markets, differentiation and roadmap, aligning customer needs with emerging AI capabilities.
• Engage investment analysts, portfolio managers, credit teams and senior decision-makers to understand workflows, buying criteria and adoption barriers.
• Assess competitors and alternatives; validate demand through research, AI-assisted prototypes and pilots. Prioritise by customer value, commercial potential, feasibility and risk, coordinating shared capabilities with Catalyst.

Investment and credit workflows
• Own requirements for opportunity screening, company and sector research, due diligence, valuation support and investment committee materials.
• Develop workflows for financial statement analysis, cash-flow and debt-service assessment, downside scenarios, credit memos, covenant review and portfolio monitoring.
• Define AI behaviour and acceptance criteria, enabling analyst review, collaboration, versioning and approval, with Excel, Word and PowerPoint outputs.
• Prioritise integrations with filings, transcripts, market and credit data, internal research and deal rooms; guide licensing, access rights and build-versus-partner decisions.

AI development, quality and governance
• Partner with Science and Engineering on models, retrieval-augmented generation, prompts, context, memory, tools and agent orchestration.
• Ensure accurate extraction and reconciliation across documents and tables, accounting for entities, periods, currencies, units, metric definitions, freshness and conflicting evidence.
• Make outputs traceable to sources, separating reported facts, calculations, assumptions and AI interpretations, with reliable calculation tools and reviewable inputs.
• Own evaluation frameworks, test sets, analyst reviews and release thresholds for numerical accuracy, citations, completeness, financial reasoning and task success; monitor regressions and feedback.
• Define safeguards for fabricated outputs, missing evidence, tool failures and long-running actions, with intervention, recovery and approval paths.
• Embed AI disclosure, permissions, audit trails and sovereign data residency. Partner with Security, Legal, Risk and Compliance on confidentiality, material non-public information and information barriers.
• Agree approved uses and validation evidence with customer governance teams; assess English and Arabic content for language quality, numerical fidelity and localisation.

Delivery and commercial outcomes
• Lead discovery, launch and iteration across Design, Engineering, Science, domain experts and Growth, balancing scope, readiness, quality, reliability, latency and cost.
• Own the business case and product performance; support pricing, packaging, positioning and enterprise sales, accounting for data, inference, review and support costs.
• Convert pilots into sustained adoption through repeatable onboarding, workflow templates and training.
• Track task success, time to validated analysis, errors, corrections and abandonment alongside adoption, conversion, retention, expansion and unit economics.

Leadership
• Align technical, financial and commercial stakeholders on priorities and trade-offs; communicate effectively with customers and leadership.
• Mentor product managers, support hiring and strengthen discovery, evaluation and product reviews while remaining hands-on with experiments, feedback and production performance.
