About this role
At Parfumado, we're looking for a hands-on, commercially minded Head of Finance & Operations to strengthen our financial performance, drive operational efficiency and help us scale sustainably. We currently operate in the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Sweden and Denmark, with Germany in the launch phase.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead Finance, ensuring strong financial control, reliable forecasting, healthy cash flow and actionable business insights. Alongside Finance, you'll oversee operational performance through our Head of Operations, who reports to you on GM development, inventory, demand forecasting, fulfilment efficiency and working capital. You'll work closely with the founders and leadership team, translating financial and operational insights into better business decisions. This is a role for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoys making a measurable impact.

What you'll own
1. Financial Leadership & Performance
- Your primary focus is to ensure Parfumado has the financial control, insights and forward-looking visibility needed to scale profitably.
- Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Lead financial control, accounting oversight and monthly and annual closing processes.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital.
- Monitor profitability, margins, cost structures and financial performance across markets and channels.
- Build reliable financial models and scenarios to support strategic and commercial decisions.
- Drive financial process improvements, automation and efficiency.
- Lead and develop the Financial Controller and Junior Admin Associate
2. Operational Oversight & Financial Alignment
The Head of Operations reports to you and owns how the operation runs and delivers, remaining accountable for cost of goods sold and operational gross margin and forecasting (etc). Your oversight sets the financial guardrails and aligns operations with cash flow and strategic objectives (a control on spend, not shared ownership of that KPI) and oversees performance.
- Lead and support the Head of Operations, ensuring clear priorities, KPIs and accountability.
- Oversee inventory performance, stock turnover, stock coverage and inventory-related working capital.
- Oversee that demand forecasting, purchasing and inventory planning are aligned with commercial forecasts and cash flow objectives.
- Oversee fulfilment costs, operational efficiency and service performance.
- Help identify and drive opportunities to reduce costs and improve inventory efficiency.
- Own the agenda and framing for operational performance in management reporting and at the Management Team meeting (with the founders + Head of Product).
3. Strategic Business Partnering & Reporting
- Act as a financial sparring partner to the founders and Management team.
- Translate financial and operational data into clear recommendations and business priorities.
- Own monthly management reporting, performance dashboards and financial shareholder reporting.
- Support investment decisions, strategic planning and growth initiatives.
- Support the founders in potential fundraising processes through financial modelling, investor materials, due diligence and financial analyses. Fundraising strategy, investor relationships and process ownership remain with the founders.
- Leverage AI, automation and modern financial tools to improve decision-making and efficiency.

- Affinity with financial systems, automation, data and AI-driven process improvements.
Why join Parfumado?
- You'll join an international business with an entrepreneurial culture and ambitious growth plans.
