Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Security Specialist   located in Guadalajara, Campus.

Reporting to the Sr Security Specialist the Security Specialist will be responsible for ensuring site physical and corporate security, overseeing daily security operations, leading third-party security providers, supporting investigations, mitigating risks, and maintaining a safe environment for employees, visitors, and company assets.

What a typical day looks like:

- Manage daily physical and corporate security operations across the facility.
- Lead and oversee third-party security providers, including security guards, contractors, and external personnel.
- Conduct and follow up on security incidents, theft investigations, loss prevention activities, and case closure activities in partnership with Human Resources and other stakeholders.
- Support CCTV investigations, incident reporting, evidence management, and documentation control.
- Perform routine security floor walks to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Participate in meetings with site leadership, staff, customers, and vendors regarding security-related topics.
- Develop and implement mitigation plans, corrective actions, and preventive measures resulting from security incidents or identified risks.
- Support the administration of access control systems, CCTV platforms, alarms, and perimeter security systems.
- Collaborate on start-up activities, expansion projects, and implementation of security systems for new facilities and operations.
- Support gatehouse operations and access management processes for employees, visitors, and vehicles.
- Assist with internal audits, investigations, security assessments, and compliance activities.
- Maintain effective relationships with local authorities and emergency response agencies as needed.
- Prepare security metrics, reports, and risk assessments for site leadership.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
- Experience in Corporate Security, Physical Security, Asset Protection, or Loss Prevention within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with CCTV investigations, evidence management, and incident reporting.
- Experience managing outsourced security providers and guard force operations.
- Knowledge of access control systems, electronic security systems, and security monitoring.
- Experience developing and executing risk mitigation plans.
- Experience supporting operations with approximately 1,500 employees per shift.
- Familiarity with facility start-ups, security system implementations, or expansion projects.
- Intermediate English,
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
