The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials, exposure to BlackLine, and proficiency in Excel and Power BI to support accurate financial reporting, internal controls, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Fixed Asset Accounting: Manage the end-to-end fixed asset lifecycle, including additions, capitalization, transfers, adjustments, retirements, disposals, and asset reconciliations. Execute monthly depreciation runs, validate calculations, and ensure accurate asset accounting and timely closure.
- Project Accounting and Capitalization: Manage project setup, cost tracking, project budgets, and capital expenditure monitoring in Oracle Projects. Review capitalizable costs, monitor Construction Work in Progress (CWIP) balances, and ensure timely capitalization and transfer of eligible project costs to Fixed Assets.
- Prepaid and Accrual Accounting: Manage prepaid expense schedules, monthly amortization, accrual calculations, reversals, and adjustments. Perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and ensure accurate expense recognition and period-end cut-off.
- Oracle Fusion Financials: Demonstrate hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Fixed Assets, General Ledger, and Projects modules. Execute depreciation runs, Create Accounting, subledger-to-GL transfer, and related month-end close activities while resolving accounting and interface errors.
- BlackLine and Reconciliations : Prepare, review, and certify balance sheet reconciliations using BlackLine, ensuring accuracy and completion within agreed SLAs. Investigate reconciling items, resolve aged balances, and maintain supporting documentation in compliance with internal controls.
- Power BI and Financial Reporting : Use Power BI and Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports on asset balances, depreciation, project expenditure, and budgets. Develop dashboards and reports to identify variances, monitor performance, and improve management visibility.
- Month-End Close, Controls, and Compliance : Complete month-end and year-end close activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting within agreed timelines. Ensure compliance with accounting policies, SOX controls, audit requirements, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) while identifying process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. An MBA in Finance or a relevant professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in fixed asset accounting, general ledger accounting, project accounting, or Record-to-Report (R2R) operations.
- Working knowledge of fixed asset accounting, depreciation, asset capitalization, transfers, disposals, and reconciliations.
- Exposure to project accounting, capital expenditure tracking, CWIP monitoring, and capitalization processes.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials , particularly Fixed Assets and General Ledger; exposure to Oracle Projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with BlackLine for balance sheet reconciliations and account certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to Power BI, dashboards, and financial data analysis is desirable.
- Understanding of month-end close, journal entries, prepaid expenses, accruals, SOX controls, and audit requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain accurate financial records, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
