Role: Sow Farm Team Member
Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay Rate:
$16 per hour
📋 Job Responsibilities
- Assist with feeding, watering, and moving sows and piglets
- Perform housekeeping assignments, including power washing and disinfecting
- Follow all biosecurity procedures
- Keep accurate breeding and farrowing records
- Perform vaccinations and help provide treatment to maintain sow health
- Process, treat, castrate, and wean piglets
- Heat check and artificially inseminate sows
- Handle multiple assignments and tasks around the farm
📋 Job Requirements
- GED or high school diploma preferred
- Previous farm experience preferred
- Available for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Able to lift 50 lbs on a consecutive basis
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
- Passion for agriculture
