Acquisition PM Support

As an Acquisition PM Support you will provide direct support to a Department of Defense customer for research, engineering, prototyping, development, rapid acquisition and project execution. Identify emerging capabilities, organize studies, and deliver advanced capabilities to the warfighter
Primary Responsibilities
- Support broad DAF team in scoping and acquiring capability solutions
- Communicate highly technical problems and solutions from engineers to senior DoD leadership
- Explore and understand state-of-the-art technical developments and emerging technologies
- Organize team meetings/conferences and document outcomes and actions
- Work as a trusted, strategic partner with the customer and solve his/her problems on a daily basis

Required:
- 10 years of relevant Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC), work experience with no less than two (2) total years of experience in a SAP environment
- Knowledge and expertise of DoD (or service) HQ level policy, staffing processes, and organization responsibilities, DESIRED
- Working knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and DoD Science and Technology agencies
- Knowledgeable of DoD Programming and Budgeting processes.
- Knowledge and expertise with MS Office products
- Strong communication skills to include authoring documents/briefings and an effective communicator - able to convey complex concepts via written word, diagram, or briefing

Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Master's Degree, preferably in a related field, DESIRED

Clearance Requirements:  
- Current/active Top Secret/SCI; Current or recent DoD SAP access
- Subject to a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph

The pay range for this position is $160,000/year to $210,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract ranges, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
