About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst with a strong technical background and proven experience in data migration, IT transformation, system integration, or other complex technology projects , preferably within the banking sector.

We are seeking someone with strong analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand project needs and define requirements.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Analyse existing processes and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Translate business needs into clear, structured requirements and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the different phases of the project.
- Support project coordination, follow up on deliverables, and help resolve issues or dependencies.
- Participate in testing and validation activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Identify potential risks and contribute to the successful delivery of project objectives.

Requirements:

- Solid experience as a Technical Business Analyst or IT Business Analyst , with a senior level of responsibility and autonomy.
- Proven experience working on data migration, IT transformation, system integration, or complex technology projects .
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to confidently engage in technical discussions with IT teams, developers, and architects.
- Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting technical and functional requirements .
- Good understanding of system architectures, data flows, technical dependencies, and integration processes.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent English , both written and spoken.
- Availability to work on-site in London, 5 days per week.

Nice to Have:

- Previous experience in the banking or financial services sector .
- Knowledge of SQL, databases, ETL processes, or data mapping .
- Experience with legacy system modernisation or platform migration projects.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and requirements management tools.
- Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership.
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail.
- Client-oriented approach.
