JOB SUMMARY :

The Sr. Support Specialist, Utility Procurement will report to the Sr. Manager, Energy and will be responsible for deregulated contract support, renewable energy tracking/maintenance, regulated rate reviews, utility database maintenance and variance analysis support.  Duties will include add/delete tracking, first invoice reviews, uncontracted account reviews, GHG reporting, REC tracking/retirement, and assisting with variance analysis.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :

- Deregulated procurement contract administration, including add/delete tracking, first invoice reviews and uncontracted account reviews
- Evaluate deregulated energy invoices to confirm billed contract prices are accurate
- Support monthly utility accruals and budget variance analysis
- Coordinate GHG reporting to support company sustainability initiatives
- Support renewable energy/community solar contract management, including add/delete, REC retirement and accrual management
- Maintain all location and account attribute details in the utility bill database
- Maintaining internal utility reports and working with utilities for regulated rate reviews as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 3+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :

- Education: Bachelors/4 year degree
- Experience: 3-5 years, Energy/Finance analytics
- Strong analytic skills with experience using consumer insights, qualitative and quantitative analysis and data to drive business decisions
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong time-management skills; the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple, competing priorities to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable results
