About this role

At Trella Health, our mission is simple: empowering meaningful change in healthcare.

We are building AI-enabled intelligence and workflows that help healthcare organizations make smarter decisions, strengthen operations, and support healthier outcomes for patients. Our platform connects health systems and post-acute providers through actionable intelligence and connected workflows that improve how care is coordinated across the healthcare continuum.

That work starts with our people. Trellavators are collaborative, curious, and committed to doing meaningful work that makes a measurable impact. We move quickly, support each other, keep our commitments, and continuously look for better ways to serve our customers and one another.

If you are excited by the opportunity to grow your career while helping shape the future of healthcare intelligence, workflows, and outcomes, we would love to meet you.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Director of Marketing to own the marketing function at Trella and lead it through our next stage of growth. This role oversees the full breadth of marketing including demand generation, brand awareness, content, communications, and internal marketing across a multi-product portfolio that spans three markets: Post-Acute, Specialty Therapy & HME, and Health Systems. As an AI-first healthcare organization, we need a leader who will run the marketing engine, balance pipeline targets across all three markets, embed AI throughout the team’s workflows, and move multiple high-stakes projects forward at once.

Location: This is a hybrid role with 1 day a week in our Atlanta, GA headquarters.

Reports to: EVP, Customer Growth and Operations

As the Director of Marketing at Trella, you will lead:

- Pipeline & Demand Generation

Own the marketing-sourced pipeline number as the single most important measure of success, delivering predictable, scalable, and repeatable pipeline that converts to revenue across all markets.

- Set and hit pipeline targets by market (Post-Acute, Specialty Therapy & HME, and Health Systems) and by product, directing spend and effort toward the biggest gaps and biggest growth opportunities.

- Monitor and optimize the channels that create pipeline (digital/paid, SEM, website, email, and webinars), restoring underperforming channels and standing up new plays as buyer behavior shifts.

- Build demand programs that feed and accelerate the BDR and sales motions, tightening hand-offs so marketing activity becomes qualified pipeline.

- AI-Forward Marketing

Embed AI across marketing workflows (content production, campaign creation, audience research, personalization, and performance reporting) to give a lean team the leverage of a much larger one.

- Set the standard for how modern, AI-first marketing gets done at Trella, continuously adopting new tools and redesigning processes around them.

- Multi-Product Positioning & Messaging

Develop deep command of our products, buyers, markets, and competitors, and translate it into clear, compelling positioning across the Insights and CRM portfolio.

- Ensure consistent messaging across divisions and segments, partnering with Product and Product Marketing to bring new capabilities to market.

- Marketing Operations & ROI

Own the processes and analytics that measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and ROI of every marketing dollar, and make disciplined, data-driven decisions about where it goes.

- Partner with RevOps to maintain pipeline reporting and attribution that leadership can rely on.

- Manage agency and contractor relationships, expectations, and budgets.

- Team Leadership & Development

Coach, develop, and hold accountable a team of pipeline-focused marketers, multiplying both their capability and their output through best practice project management, AI, and process.

- Build a high-performance, test-and-learn culture that measures results and continuously improves.

- Cross-Functional Partnership & Execution

Partner closely with Sales, BDRs, Customer Success, RevOps, Product and Product Marketing to align messaging, tighten hand-offs, and turn programs into closed revenue.

- Move multiple strategic and executional projects forward at once without letting the pipeline number slip.

This job might be a fit for you if you have:

- 10+ years in B2B marketing with a track record of driving demand and generating pipeline, preferably in SaaS, including experience leading a marketing function or demand-gen organization.

- A demonstrated ability to own and hit a pipeline number. You treat pipeline as your north star and are comfortable being measured on it.

- Genuine fluency with AI marketing tools and a concrete track record of using AI to increase a team’s output and quality.

- Experience marketing a multi-product portfolio across more than one market or buyer type, and balancing competing demand goals.

- Proven success acquiring, nurturing, and converting buyers through multi-channel programs (digital, paid, email, web, webinars, events).

- Strong leadership and coaching skills. You build and develop your team members.

- Powerful analytical and problem-solving skills. You combine qualitative and quantitative insight to tell a story and make data-driven recommendations.

- Hands-on experience with Claude, Salesforce and Marketo.

- The range to operate across strategy and execution and keep multiple projects moving at once, with a bias toward action.

- Superior communication skills, an inquisitive nature, and a proactive, can-do attitude.

- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience marketing to healthcare providers, suppliers, or other healthcare buyers.

- Familiarity with post-acute care, specialty therapy, HME, or value-based care markets.

- Experience marketing both analytics and CRM or workflow products.

- Experience scaling demand generation in a growth-stage or PE/VC-backed environment.
