Your Role
OUTFRONT is seeking an organized, data-minded Photography Operations Manager to support photography scheduling and field operations across our markets. This role keeps our national photography operation running smoothly by managing scheduling for our smaller markets and serving as the backup scheduler for every market when a scheduler is out.
You’ll coordinate shoots, balance requests from Sales, Marketing, and Operations, and keep photographers and freelancers on track to deliver timely, high-quality visual assets. You’ll work alongside the Senior Photography Operations Manager and the regional field operations managers, follow shared scheduling processes, and help improve them through automation and better data. Because you’ll back up schedulers nationally, this role may require working West Coast hours when needed.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Photography, and works closely with Regional Management, field operations staff, and Product and Technology partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage photography scheduling for assigned smaller markets, coordinating shoots, routes, and deadlines with photographers and freelancers.
- Serve as the backup scheduler for all markets, stepping in when a regional scheduler is out, including covering West Coast hours as needed.
- Learn and follow standard operating procedures across markets so coverage is seamless when stepping in.
- Coordinate requests from Sales, Marketing, and Operations, and communicate schedule changes clearly to stakeholders.
- Participate in weekly priority meetings with Sales coordinators and cross-functional partners.
- Support the Senior Photography Operations Manager and Regional Management on process improvements, including automation tools such as Power Automate, SharePoint, and AI-assisted scheduling.
- Maintain scheduling data and help track KPIs, turnaround times, and coverage gaps.
- Review and organize incoming visual assets to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards.
- Build working knowledge of OUTFRONT inventory across markets to support route planning and coverage.
- Help update SOPs and training materials as processes evolve.
Your Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in operations, scheduling, logistics coordination, creative operations, or a related field.
- Strong organization and communication skills; comfortable coordinating with Sales, field teams, and freelancers.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and working with large datasets); Power Query is a plus.
- Interest in workflow automation tools such as Power Automate; experience with AI-assisted tools is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple markets and shifting priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to work West Coast hours when covering for other markets.
- Experience with digital asset management systems; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable.
The salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000 annually. Compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers and market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position, and collective bargaining agreement terms. Please note that the foregoing compensation information is a good-faith assessment associated with this position only and is provided pursuant to the California Salary Transparency Law.
