As the Maintenance Service Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall operation of the maintenance department and the appearance and working order of the apartment community.

Job Description

- Responsible for daily supervision of maintenance staff members including the delegation of work orders, special projects and time management techniques.
- Inspect and oversee existing work orders through completion.
- Manage HVAC, Boiler, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests.
- Mentor and train new and existing maintenance staff members.
- Involved with interviewing and selection of new maintenance team members.
- Provide written monthly energy management recommendations for the building.
- Identify capital improvements and obtain required estimates/bids.
- Assist in budget preparation for maintenance expenses.

Qualifications

- Experience in hotel, apartment, hospital maintenance/engineering, with 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills. 
- Ability to create a team, mentor, and train a team 
- Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems, appliances, water heaters, chillers/boilers, and H.V.A.C.  or EPA Universal Certification.
-  Proven track record managing a preventative maintenance program and experience with capital projects.
