OPEN JOB: NIGHT SHIFT - RN Assistant Nurse Manager Inpatient Peds/PICU & NICU
LOCATION: Baltimore, Maryland
***Relocation Assistance Available -
BASE SALARY: $90,000 to $130,000
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Bachelors in Nursing (BSN)
- At least 3 years of recent nursing experience with Peds/PICU or NICU
- Progressive leadership experience in the hospital setting
DETAILS:
- This is a Full-Time position that will be scheduled for EVENINGS / NIGHTS.
- The RN Assistant Nurse Manager is a supportive role to the Childrens Services Nurse Manager and staff.
- This role has a focus on improving and sustaining positive patient outcomes, the patient experience, facilitating patient throughput, staff engagement, operations, fiscal and change management.
- In addition, it will be a requirement for this individual to maintain basic nursing skills as required by their specialty.
- The individual must demonstrate basic competence in clinical, ethical and legal aspects surrounding the provision of patient care.
- In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assume full oversight and responsibilities for their assigned unit/s.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) required
- Experience: At least 3 years of nursing experience in Peds/PICU or NICU with progressive leadership experience (charge, precepting, etc.) required
- Licensure: Current Maryland or COMPACT Registered Nurse License
Certifications:
- BLS – American Heart Association required
- S.T.A.B.L.E. required within 6 months of hire
- NRP required within 6 months of hire
- PALS required within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Chemotherapy/biotherapy provider course preferred
