Job Title: eCommerce Merchandising Specialist

Business Unit: Digital Marketing

Location: AZ (1 role opening) Required Southwest resident

Reports To: Manager, eCommerce Marketing

Role Summary

The eCommerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day ownership and optimization of digital merchandising across assigned markets for Trulieve's website and mobile app. Unlike the Coordinator role, which focuses primarily on routine audits and execution, the Specialist independently manages more complex merchandising workflows, analyzes customer and site-performance trends, recommends improvements, and drives issues through resolution across Product Information Management (PIM), category merchandising, promotional setup, product discovery, linking, and navigation. This role partners with IT, Marketing, Creative, CRM, and Retail to ensure the digital storefront is accurate, compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with market priorities.

Responsibilities

- Own digital merchandising execution for assigned markets across the Trulieve website and mobile app, including product setup, attributes, imagery, categorization, category placement, linking, navigation, and onsite search readiness.

- Independently manage complex pricing, discount, and promotional merchandising workflows; validate setup and launch timing, identify root causes of errors, and coordinate resolution with IT, Marketing, Creative, CRM, and Retail.

- Lead launch-readiness reviews for new products, back-in-stock items, campaigns, and market-specific promotions to confirm brand, compliance, content, and customer-experience requirements are met before and after launch.

- Establish and maintain audit standards for assigned markets; prioritize issues by customer and revenue impact, document findings, assign or escalate actions, and track them through resolution.

- Analyze GA4, onsite search, product-discovery, customer-journey, and conversion data to identify trends and recommend merchandising or content improvements.

- Translate business priorities, promotional calendars, and state-level inventory considerations into clear digital merchandising plans and execution requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Required: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, eCommerce, business, information technology, or a related field plus at least 3 years of relevant experience; or at least 5 years of equivalent eCommerce, digital merchandising, web content, or catalog-management experience in lieu of a degree.

- Required: Demonstrated experience independently managing digital merchandising workflows across multiple products, campaigns, locations, or markets.

- Required: Working knowledge of eCommerce platforms, Product Information Management (PIM), content management systems, product taxonomy, promotional workflows, and digital quality assurance.

- Required: Experience investigating merchandising or promotional issues, identifying root causes, coordinating cross-functional resolution, and documenting outcomes.

- Required: Ability to interpret web analytics and customer-behavior data and turn findings into actionable merchandising recommendations.

- Preferred: Hands-on experience with Adobe Commerce (Magento), Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), SAP, Talon. One, GA4, or comparable platforms.

- Preferred: Experience in retail, CPG, or another regulated, multi-location, or high-volume eCommerce environment.

- Strong judgment, organization, and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize multiple time-sensitive launches, audits, and issue resolutions.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional partners and clearly escalate risks, decisions, and recommended actions.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for occasional nights and weekends based on launch and promotional needs.
