About the Role
At Uber, we are reimagining the way the world moves. Our Advertising business is a key driver of this mission, connecting brands with our highly engaged audience across our mobility and delivery platforms. We are a fast-growing team looking for a systems expert to build the foundation for our next phase of growth. Ads Internal Tools & Systems team supports an enterprise advertising business spanning Managed Ads, Programmatic, Self-Serve, Sponsored Listings, and Endemic Advertising — and we're a fast-growing team looking for a systems expert to build the foundation for our next phase of growth.
A new market or ad product doesn't generate revenue the day it's announced — it generates revenue the day it's fully configured across Salesforce, Billing, Ad Server, and Reporting. Until then, Sellers can't quote it, Finance can't invoice it, Ads can't serve correctly, and Leadership can't see it in a dashboard.
We're looking for a detail-oriented Sales Ops Associate to own that configuration and readiness process end-to-end for every new market and product launch. You'll be the person who makes sure nothing goes live half-wired, and the person Product GTM, Finance, and Regional Sales leads come to with "is this ready to sell yet?" before every launch. This is a highly visible, execution-focused role with direct exposure to leadership during every major launch window.
What You'll Do
- Launch Intake & Tracking: Maintain the master tracker of upcoming new market and product launches — planned go-live dates, owners, and readiness status across all four systems
- Salesforce Configuration: Add and validate new Market/Product picklist values, Rate Types, and Record Types so sellers can actually create Opportunities for new markets and products on day one
- Billing Setup: Partner with product and finance to ensure automated billing systems meet all sales, legal, tax and local market requirements
- Ad Server Readiness: Coordinate creation of ad inventory/placements and targeting dimensions, and confirm test campaigns are validated before a market or product goes live
- Reporting Setup: Ensure new market/product dimensions are added to reporting and BI tools so performance and revenue are visible from day one — no "Unknown" buckets
- Launch Readiness QA: Run a pre-launch checklist across all four systems for every upcoming launch, flag gaps, and drive them to closure before the go-live date
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Be the connective tissue between Product GTM, Finance, Ad Ops, and Regional Sales during every launch window
- Process & Documentation: Maintain launch runbooks and checklists, and contribute to post-launch retros to catch and fix recurring setup gaps
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Program/Launch Coordination, or Business Systems ideally in a fast-growing or multi-market business
- Bachelor’s degree
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce (basic admin/configuration — picklists, price books, record types); exposure to billing or ad-serving tools is a plus
- Comfortable in Excel or SQL to audit whether a launch is actually ready across systems, not just reported as ready
Preferred Qualifications
- Clear, proactive communicator — comfortable flagging a blocked launch to Finance, Product, or Regional Sales leadership with enough lead time to fix it
- You treat a missed or half-configured launch as your problem to catch, not someone else's to notice
- A track record of managing many parallel checklists without dropping details, and chasing down the right stakeholder for missing information
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ, homegrown billing platforms, programmatic ad servers (e.g., GAM), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), Order Management Systems ( e.g., Boostr, Placement. IO)
- Prior experience as the “systems owner” bridging Sales Ops and Engineering
- Experience with project or launch tracking tools (Asana, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Prior experience supporting international or multi-market product launches
