THE JOB:
As a Cashier Host for Wicked Spoon inside The Cosmopolitan , you will be the first and last impression of the guest experience, setting the stage for exceptional hospitality from the moment guests arrive. In this guest-facing role, you will warmly welcome and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, process transactions accurately, and partner closely with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience. Your energy, professionalism, and attention to detail will help create memorable moments while representing the venue's brand and commitment to world-class service. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.74 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Greet guests when they enter the outlet, determine what comps, points or awards guests have and finally complete the payment transaction through the POS system.
- Determine the size of the party and any special needs for seating, work with their team to locate and assist guests to their seating/table.
- Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with any final guest needs or questions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to include the cashier box, dining room and service stations.
- Perform other job‐related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be at least 21+ years of age
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Experience managing cash transactions in a high-volume environment
- Experience interacting with guests in a fast-paced hospitality setting
