MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Field Support Technician to join our team in Arlington, VA .

This position may require travel up to 25% within the continental united states.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- The Field Support Technician provides advanced onsite and remote technical support, specializing in complex troubleshooting and problem resolution
- They diagnose and resolve challenging hardware and software issues, install and configure complex equipment, and provide expert technical assistance to end users and Junior Technicians
- They lead onsite maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations
- They communicate effectively with clients, explaining complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
- They develop and maintain knowledgebase articles and training materials, contributing to the team’s knowledgebase and improving support efficiency
- They also mentor Junior Technicians, providing guidance and support in their professional development
- The Field Support Technician III provides direction and mentorship to subordinate staff

Minimum Qualifications:

- HS diploma and nine (7) years of professional experience as a field service technician, systems administrator, network administrator or i a similar role troubleshooting ad problem-solving IT systems and networks.
- OR a Bachelor's Degree and five (5) or more years of position relevant experience.
- Must obtain at least one of the following certifications within 3 months of starting: CCNA, CompTIA A+, Network+, AZ 104, MD 102.
- Most posses DOD 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as Security+.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Advanced vendor-specific certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNP), CISSP or other advanced security certifications, ITIL Practitioner (or higher), and Project Management certifications.
- Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired.

Clearance Requirements:

- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance.

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Required Travel up to 25%

The projected compensation range for this position is $88,200.00-$147,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
