Fitness Supervisor
The City of Woodstock is pleased to be recruiting for a part-time Fitness Supervisor with the Woodstock Recreation Department.
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for managing fitness instructors, trainers and classes for the Woodstock Recreation Department. This position assists in recruiting, hiring, interviewing and training instructors for our fitness classes. This position is responsible for creating a fitness schedule that best benefits our members at the Woodstock Recreation Department.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Minimum of three (3) years of previous fitness experience.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Experience in fitness training.
- Experience as a fitness instructor.
- Experience in staff management.
- Preferred personal trainer certification.
- Preferred group fitness certification.
- CPR, First Aid and AED Certified within 6 months of working at the Woodstock Recreation D epartment.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
The positions is a part-time, non-exempt/hourly position with a starting rate of pay of $21.58 and will work no more than an average of 28 hours per week. Benefits include an IMRF pension, prorated vacation, holiday, and sick time, decreasing term life insurance, choice of two (2) optional employee paid vision insurance plans and a free Woodstock Recreation Center membership.
