Purpose
Ensure the functional, visual, and user experience quality of mobile applications (Android and iOS) through the planning, execution, and documentation of manual testing, ensuring that products meet established standards and provide an optimal experience for end users..
Accountabilities

- Design and execute manual test cases for Android and iOS mobile applications, including functional, regression, and smoke testing.
- Validate compatibility across different devices, screen resolutions, operating systems, and OS versions.
- Report defects with clear traceability, including steps to reproduce, supporting evidence, environment details, and device information.
- Prepare test data and configure mobile testing environments, including emulators, simulators, and physical devices.
- Participate in refinement sessions and daily stand-ups to understand acceptance criteria and provide a quality perspective.
- Document test results and evidence using test management tools such as Jira and Xray.
- Maintain test cases and supporting evidence according to established templates and workflows.
- Perform basic performance and resource consumption testing, including CPU, memory, battery, and network usage on mobile devices.
- Validate basic security aspects, including permissions, secure storage, and headers, under the guidance of the relevant team.
- Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and UX teams to clarify requirements and ensure a positive user experience.

Education / Experience / Other Information (include only those that are specific to the role)
- Completed secondary education (mandatory).
- Technical college or university studies in a technology-related field; studies may be incomplete.
- Technical certifications in testing, test automation, or QA are desirable.
- Technical Requirements & Experience
- Knowledge of testing concepts and different types of testing, including:
- Functional testing
- Regression testing
- Smoke testing
- Exploratory testing
- Experience performing manual testing for Android and iOS applications.
- Familiarity with mobile testing environments, including:
- Emulators
- Simulators
- Physical devices
- Knowledge of test case and defect management using tools such as Jira and Xray.
- Ability to validate application compatibility across different devices, resolutions, and operating system versions.
- Basic knowledge of mobile security, including permissions, secure storage, and HTTPS communications.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
- Knowledge of performance and resource consumption testing is desirable.
- Familiarity with usability and accessibility testing is desirable.
- Basic knowledge of network testing tools is desirable.
- 1–2 years of experience in QA or manual testing roles.
- Experience in mobile projects involving Android and iOS, performing functional testing and defect reporting.
- Experience working in Agile projects and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
