Job Description
Leadership and Business Development
- Lead Portfolio Management and Investment Advisory in Luxembourg;
- Drive the commercial development of investment mandates, with a focus on increasing penetration rates across the client base;
- Foster a strong performance and client-centric culture within the investment team.
Client Advisory
- Serve as a senior Investment Advisor, providing tailored investment advice and portfolio solutions to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients;
- Support relationship managers in delivering best-in-class investment propositions.
Regional Coordination and Representation
- Act as the key liaison between Luxembourg and the Group’s European investment teams;
- Represent the voice and needs of European clients to the Geneva-based investment and product teams;
- Contribute to the development of investment solutions tailored to the specific needs of the European client base;
- Act as a relay of the ideas of the Group to ensure a better promotion in Europe of funds, club deals, private equity solutions;
- Act as a sponsor in the New Product Committee as soon as an investment product or solution is concerned.
Governance and Risk Management
- Ensure strict adherence to the Bank’s investment guidelines, risk framework, and regulatory standards;
- Oversee the quality and consistency of investment advice and portfolio construction across the team;
- Collaborate closely with Compliance, Risk, and Investment Oversight functions to maintain the highest governance standards.
Innovation and Transformation
- Drive the digital evolution of investment processes, enhancing efficiency, transparency, and client experience;
- Promote the adoption of advanced portfolio management tools, data analytics, and automation in investment decision-making;
- Collaborate with Group IT, Operations, and Product teams to streamline investment delivery and strengthen scalability.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent relevant professional experience;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in investment management, wealth management, or private banking;
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary investment teams;
- Strong understanding of discretionary portfolio management, advisory processes, and financial markets;
- Proven leadership skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent Mirabaud & Cie (Europe) SA vis-à-vis Group management and clients;
- Fluent in English and French; Spanish would be a strong asset;
- Based in Luxembourg, with regular travels to Paris, London, Madrid and Geneva.
