As part of AECOM’s U.S. West Transportation team, you will work with a multidisciplinary network of engineers, planners, technical specialists, and project leaders to deliver innovative solutions for public-sector transportation clients. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT), the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), Valley Metro, counties, cities, and other transportation agencies while identifying opportunities to expand AECOM’s presence in the region.

- Identify, pursue, and secure new transportation infrastructure opportunities by developing client engagement strategies, identifying emerging needs, and positioning AECOM for strategic project pursuits.
- Manage project portfolios and individual assignments, maintaining accountability for scope, schedule, budget, profitability, quality, staffing, risk management, and client satisfaction.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance, technical insight, and proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams across roadway design, traffic engineering, drainage, structures, environmental services, planning, and other technical disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.

- Review and approve technical deliverables, oversee quality management processes, and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including relevant ADOT standards and design criteria.
- Lead proposal development, capture planning, teaming strategies, technical approaches, staffing plans, fee development, and client presentations for competitive pursuits.
- Collaborate with AECOM’s U.S. West Transportation leadership to align regional business development priorities, share technical resources, and expand client relationships across Arizona and neighboring markets.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain engineering and project management talent while promoting accountability, technical excellence, safety, and professional growth.
- Monitor project performance and client feedback, resolve emerging delivery challenges, and implement improvements that strengthen project outcomes and long-term client partnerships.
