Position Summary

The goal of this role is to keep the clinical executive team organized, in support of elevating patient experience. The clinical executive team carries a large portfolio that spans quality, risk, revenue integrity, implementation, labor supply, and education. Much of it is tracked informally and measured thinly. The Project Manager (PM) brings structure and insight into that work.

The Clinical PM will work in a cross-functional environment alongside the RCM PM, Technical PM, and Implementation PM to move projects towards key clinical business goals. This position will work closely with the Enterprise Product Manager to support the enterprise portfolio and product ecosystem health.

The Clinical PM also acts as the team coordinator: They arrange meetings, take tasks the team assigns, and keep every project, incident, document, and program visible, owned, dated, and measured.

Key Responsibilities

A. Project Tracking and New Projects

- Maintain the clinical portfolio tracker of all active, on-hold, and backlog projects.

- Follow up with owners between meetings on next steps, due dates, and dependencies; escalate slippage to the team early.

- Work with the Enterprise Product Manager to review project requests on a weekly basis.

- Maintain and report on the RAID log, mitigation processes, and project health.

B. Clinical Programs

- Work with the Enterprise Product Manager to keep a register of every program in place.

- Be informed by responsible parties for recruitment, retention, mentoring, and rotation programs to provide program health reports and support high level project management.

C. Data Analytics and Reporting

- Build and maintain a reporting suite for the clinical team.

- Work with Clinical Informatics on special projects.

- Audit, pull, and prepare the necessary data for the monthly PPC presentation on clinical work. Ensure the clinical deck is board ready.

D. Support to the Clinical Executive Team

- Arrange the weekly clinical executive meeting and any other meetings the team needs.

- Keep shared folders, templates, and the document library organized.

- Route clinical escalations to the appropriate team member immediately.

- Serve as the team's point of contact with other project managers and department leads on clinical projects.

- Provide logistics for the CEQC when it meets: agenda, minutes, and action tracking.

- Where Graphium or RCM data exist, record before-and-after numbers for each initiative (denial rate, charge capture, first-time starts, turnover time) so results can be reported.

Required Qualifications

- Three or more years in healthcare program or project management, quality, risk, credentialing, or clinical operations support, ideally in a physician group or ambulatory surgery setting.

- Demonstrated skill in data analysis and reporting: advanced Excel, plus experience building dashboards (such as Power BI or Tableau). SQL is a plus.

- Ability to explain numbers clearly, including their limits, to physicians and executives.

- Experience running or tracking recruitment, residency or student rotation, or mentoring programs is a plus.

- Experience coordinating across departments and working with other project managers. Revenue cycle familiarity is a plus.

- Experience with incident reporting, performance improvement, or accreditation preparation.

- Strong document control discipline and meticulous record-keeping.

- Fluency with Microsoft 365 and Excel; experience with a project tool such as monday.com is a plus.

- Strong written communication and the judgment to follow up persistently without friction.

- Discretion with confidential clinical and personnel information.
