Regional Data & Analytics Capability Manager

The Regional Data & Analytics Capability Manager leads the regional Data & Analytics capability, translating market and regional business priorities into trusted, reusable data products and measurable business outcomes. The role drives the regional D&A roadmap, oversees the D&A portfolio and distributed team, strengthens data governance and analytics adoption, and builds the foundations required for advanced analytics and AI.

As the Regional Data & Analytics Capability Manager, you will:

- Translate enterprise D&A strategy and market priorities into a regional capability roadmap, balancing business value, funding, capacity, sequencing, and dependencies.

- Lead the delivery and lifecycle management of regional data products, datasets, semantic models, and analytics assets, promoting reusable solutions and governed self-service analytics.

- Drive data governance, quality, and AI readiness by establishing clear data definitions, quality controls, ownership, metadata, lineage, and access requirements with business and technology stakeholders.

- Oversee the regional D&A portfolio, service reliability, operational commitments, vendors, budgets, and resources while coordinating dependencies with Market IT, SSD, Global D&A, and other capability teams.

- Partner with Market/Cluster D&IT Leads, regional functions, and business data owners to shape demand, prioritize initiatives, drive adoption, and track measurable business benefits.

- Lead and develop the regional D&A team, strengthening data and analytics capabilities, knowledge transfer, sustainable resource coverage, and a strong regional data practitioner community.

Requirements:

- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data & Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

- 8+ years of relevant experience in Data & Analytics, BI, data management, or enterprise IT, including 5+ years leading teams, capabilities, or complex cross-functional delivery.

- Proven experience translating business priorities into data roadmaps and delivering data and analytics products across multiple markets or functions.

- Strong knowledge of data architecture, DWH/Data Lake, ETL/ELT, semantic modelling, BI and self-service analytics, data governance, and data quality principles.

- Experience in portfolio and project delivery, service operations, vendor governance, financial and capacity management, and enabling data readiness for advanced analytics and AI.

- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills within a complex matrix organization, with fluent written and spoken English.
