About the role

As a Project Manager - Product Owner , you will serve as the Product Owner for Google Cloud Platform application development engagements . We will count on you to lead consultative discovery, backlog management, Agile delivery, project planning, and client engagement to turn business ideas into high-value software applications . Along the way, you will get to:

- Plan and lead client discovery workshops and user research to identify business needs, map user journeys, and define MVP scope.

- Own and refine the product backlog, including user stories, acceptance criteria, priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery documentation.

- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with UX, engineering, cloud architecture, and PMO teams to plan and deliver outcomes.

- Manage scope, schedule, milestones, resources, budget, change requests, client communications, and project health across assigned engagements.

What we’re looking for

- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years in client-facing IT consulting or professional services, including 3+ years leading discovery, backlog definition, and Agile delivery for custom software builds.

- Proven ability to translate ambiguous business requests into actionable software requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, estimates, and SOW-aligned plans.

- Strong client-facing communication and experience working with UX or design teams, usability and accessibility standards, and Google product or cloud ecosystems.

- Hands-on proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet; relevant project, Product Owner, Scrum, SAFe, GCP, or public-cloud certifications are useful.
