About this role
Role Purpose
To implement and monitor HSE requirements on Innovo Infrastructure project sites, conducting inspections, toolbox talks, and incident reporting to maintain a safe site environment.
Key Accountabilities
Site Monitoring
- Conduct daily site safety inspections; monitor PPE usage and safe work practices.
- Stop unsafe work activities and escalate serious hazards immediately.
Toolbox Talks & Permits
- Deliver daily toolbox talks and safety inductions for site personnel and subcontractors.
- Issue and monitor permits-to-work for high-risk activities.
Incident Reporting
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions to the HSE Engineer without delay.
- Assist in basic incident investigations and complete incident documentation.
Housekeeping & Environmental Monitoring
- Monitor site housekeeping standards and waste segregation practices.
- Check environmental controls such as dust suppression and spill containment are maintained.
Equipment Checks
- Inspect site plant, tools, and lifting gear for valid certification before use.
- Maintain HSE signage, barricading, and emergency equipment across the site.
Innovation & Value Creation
- Introduce modern tools, technologies and processes that improve efficiency and transparency.
- Encourage innovative thinking to enhance outcomes and reduce costs without compromising quality.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Diploma in Safety or related field; NEBOSH IGC preferred
- Minimum 3–5 years of HSE experience on construction sites
