About this role
Your mission
Our engineers and founders have stories worth telling. You’ll turn them into posts, articles, launch visuals and videos that help people understand what we’re building at Lyceum.
You’ll work directly with Mahir, our Brand and Marketing Lead, from the first idea through to publication. Bring your own ideas, ask good questions and make things people want to read or watch. You’ll use AI tools throughout your process, with the judgement to know when the result needs more work.
Who you’ll work with
Your colleagues include a former Google Director of Engineering, a former Citadel quant trader and researchers with doctorates from Cambridge and EPFL.
The team also brings experience from Amazon, Spotify and CERN, with academic backgrounds at Oxford, ETH Zurich and the London School of Economics.
What you’ll do
- write and produce 3 LinkedIn posts a week across Lyceum and our founders’ accounts
- interview engineers and turn their knowledge into clear articles, aiming for 4 to 5 a month
- help launch new models with visuals, posts and newsletter content
- plan content around events and turn footage into short videos
- help run the monthly content calendar, from ideas and drafts through feedback to publication
- brief our content agency and review its proposed topics and outlines
Your profile
- excellent written and spoken English, with a feel for clear language, narrative and humour
- work you can show us: posts, videos, a newsletter, a blog, a side project or something else you’ve made
- good visual judgement and the ability to work with existing templates
- curiosity about AI, models, graphics processing units (GPUs) and application programming interfaces (APIs); you don’t need to code
- confidence using AI tools to write, design, research or produce content
- you propose ideas, follow through and improve your work through feedback
German isn’t required. Published work matters more to us than a particular degree. Short-form video, motion design or experience growing your own audience would be a bonus.
The internship
This is a 3-month, full-time internship in our Berlin office, paid at €3,000 a month. You’ll get direct feedback from Mahir and work with our founders and engineers. Strong performance could lead to a permanent role.
We’re looking for someone to start as soon as possible. January also works for the right person.
