Shift Supervisor – Vehicle Operations

About the Role
We are looking to hire a hands-on Shift Supervisor to lead Vehicle Operators, oversee autonomous vehicle testing, and support safe, efficient fleet operations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, operational experience, and a commitment to safety and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, coach, and support Vehicle Operators during daily operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and vehicle testing standards.
- Coordinate shift schedules, team assignments, and operational reporting.
- Provide performance feedback and resolve operational challenges.
- Support hardware and software testing for autonomous vehicles.
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 12+ months of autonomous vehicle operator experience and an active AVT permit.
- Excellent driving history.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Proven ability to improve operational efficiency and support team performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 12+ months of Zoox Vehicle Operations experience.
- 2+ years of autonomous vehicle industry or operations experience.
- Previous experience as a team lead, instructor, or supervisor.
Available Shifts
AM Shift: 6:45 AM–3:15 PM
PM Shift: 3:45 PM–12:15 AM
Available schedules: Tuesday–Saturday, Sunday–Thursday, or Friday–Tuesday.
