Internship assignment:

Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg is a key part of Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. As an intern in Quality Coordination, you'll support our Quality team in coordinating quality activities across all project phases - from design to site execution until works acceptance. You will help track issues, documentation, and follow-up so quality is closed out on time. This is a hands-on learning opportunity to gain real-world experience in quality coordination within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

- Support coordination of quality activities between QC, construction, contractors, and project teams.

- Help track non-conformities (NCRs), punch items, and corrective actions through to close-out.

- Assist in maintaining inspection, handover, and quality documentation.

- Support the implementation of Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) and quality checkpoints.

- Prepare status reports, meeting notes, and action trackers using digital tools.

- Participate in site walks, inspections, and quality meetings under supervision.

- Follow up on overdue actions, missing records, and open quality issues.

- Learn and apply quality standards (e.g., DIN, ISO 9001, Tesla specs).

- Work closely with contractors, engineers, and team leads to keep quality built in from the start.

- Learn how to maintain day-to-day stakeholder relationships.

- Currently studying Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of construction processes and quality principles.

- Interest in quality coordination, documentation, and continuous improvement.

- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

- Good communication skills in English (German is a plus, but not required).

- Ability to work in a team and follow instructions carefully.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams); SharePoint experience is a plus.

- Willingness to support on-site visits and take notes during inspections and meetings
