About this role
MTSI is looking for a highly qualified Senior Model-Based Systems Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will apply state-of-the-art systems engineering principles within a digital engineering framework to create, analyze, and maintain system architecture models as part of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)’s Transformation Task Force.
Job Responsibilities
- Conduct systems engineering activities using digital tools and processes
- Instruct other team members on how to conduct systems engineering activities using digital tools and processes
- Lead teams to execute systems engineering activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related experience working on missile defense-related or another complex, large defense program/project
- Active SECRET clearance
- Significant systems engineering experience including system modeling, requirements management, and configuration management
- Experienced with system modeling tools such as Cameo
- Experienced with requirements management tools such as DOORS Next
- Experienced with tool extension and scripting and automated document production
Preferred Qualifications
- OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Language Professional (OCSMP) - System Model Builder Intermediate
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
- Experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Publisher
- Light coding and scripting experience - Java, Groovy, JS, Power Query M, etc.
