Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately using point-of-sale systems.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments, following proper cash-handling procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to all clients.
- Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Help maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the cashier station and in surrounding areas.
- Collaborate with team members to address customer questions and concerns.
- Manage rental or loaner cars and handle other tasks as they arise.
- This role involves more than cashiering—youll also get to learn other aspects of the daily service procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or cash handling experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems.
