About this role
The role
With Exoborne now announced, we're growing the team that will bring it to life, and we're looking for a Senior Producer to own and run one of the game's core areas.
Exoborne is organised into game areas: the big pillars of the player experience. Each area is delivered by a set of feature teams, guided by an Area Director and supported by Area Owners who hold the creative and technical direction for that part of the game.
Reporting to the Production Director, you'll be the production lead for your area. You'll run its key feature teams day to day, partner with the Area Director and Area Owners to turn vision into a plan the teams believe in, and make sure the area lands with AAA quality, on time and on budget. It's a role for someone who knows that great production isn't about control, but about giving teams clarity, focus and trust, then bringing their work together into one coherent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own production for a game area. Be accountable for how your area is planned, staffed and delivered, from milestone scope through to what ships.
- Run the area's key feature teams. Set the rhythms, rituals and working norms that keep cross-disciplinary teams focused, unblocked and shipping.
- Partner with the Area Director and Area Owners. Translate the area's creative and technical direction into clear plans, priorities and trade-offs, and keep everyone aligned as things change.
- Plan and scope milestones. Break the area's goals into deliverable feature work, negotiate scope, and keep the plan honest about capacity and dependencies.
- Manage dependencies across the game. Work with producers in other areas and with shared teams so your area integrates cleanly into the wider build.
- Track progress, risk and team health. Surface issues early, lead the response, and balance schedule, quality and people when hard calls are needed.
- Report clearly upward. Give production and project leadership an accurate, timely picture of where your area stands and what it needs
- Continuously improve how we work. Refine process, tooling and team experience in your area, and share what works with the wider production organisation.
Requirements
- 10+ years in production on AA/AAA titles, with at least 5 as a Senior Producer or equivalent, on cross-disciplinary teams of 100+.
- Proven ownership of a major part of a game (a feature set, game area or pillar), leading several feature teams at once through at least one full AAA development cycle.
- A track record of working closely with directors and creative leads, turning vision into scoped, achievable plans and holding the line on trade-offs.
- Full-cycle AAA experience from concept through launch.
- Strong command of modern project management practice: agile, lean or hybrid, at scale.
- Excellent stakeholder management and written and verbal communication across disciplines and seniority levels.
- A genuine investment in team culture, the people you lead, and the craft of production.
Bonus points
- Experience on multiplayer or live service games, including post-launch.
- Experience shipping on PlayStation and Xbox as well as PC.
- Experience working with co-development or external partners.
- Experience with Unreal Engine development pipelines.
