The team based in Birmingham are well established and deliver projects across education, healthcare, residential and other sectors.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Principal Electrical Engineer to join the team at our Birmingham office, to play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative electrical design solutions for some of the most exciting building projects in the UK, Ireland and internationally.
While working with some of the largest and most innovative corporate entities across Aviation, Education, Commercial and Industrial sectors, you'll design sustainable buildings that give the people inside them a great place to do their best work.
The successful candidate will take a key role in delivering these projects whilst managing Cundall's engineers. You will work closely with colleagues of various disciplines, including external local engineering partners, to manage the delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects.
You will develop new and nurture existing outstanding client relationships that maximise satisfaction and ensure repeat business and will use your wealth of expertise and leadership skills to manage, motivate and inspire less experienced engineers.
The Skills
Educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering, you bring substantial experience from an Electrical Engineering role within a building services environment. As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you are highly competent in designing low voltage distribution networks, lighting systems, fire alarms, and security systems. You also bring hands-on experience with renewable technologies.
With strong technical expertise, you are fully proficient in relevant design software, including EoM, Revit and have a proven track record of creating sustainable, intuitive, and creative designs. Your extensive experience demonstrates your ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions alongside a quality and client focused approach.
In your most recent position, you have consistently demonstrated your ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and less experienced engineers to deliver to and exceed client expectations.
