- Operational Readiness: Establish readiness milestones, reviews, dependencies, escalation paths, and contingency plans and ensure operational workstreams are prepared for live delivery.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify operational, financial, safety, and execution risks and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans.
- Onsite Leadership: Lead the onsite operational command structure for assigned programs, coordinating internal teams, agencies, venues, vendors, and stakeholders and making real-time decisions within assigned scope.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Partner with Event Marketing, Content & Programming, Event Technology Operations, Demo Experiences, Strategic Partnerships & Sponsorships, and other teams to ensure operational plans support the integrated event experience.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement: Lead operational post-event reviews, document lessons learned, and recommend improvements that can strengthen future programs and delivery practices.
- Program Team Leadership: Provide program-level direction, coaching, and guidance to Event Operations Managers and Event Coordinators assigned to programs, without direct people-management responsibility.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

- Experience managing significant event budgets, forecasts, scopes, agencies, venues, and supplier relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to operate with high autonomy and make complex scope, budget, resource, risk, and execution tradeoffs within assigned programs.
- Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional teams, agencies, and vendors without direct reporting authority.
- Strong risk-management, contingency-planning, and live-event decision-making experience.
- Ability to effectively influence and communicate with senior business and functional stakeholders.
