After-School Library Clerk - Amy Sanders Library
Part-time (15 hours/week)
The Amy Sanders Library (10200 Johnson Dr., Sherwood, AR 72120) is seeking a customer-service-oriented individual to assist with after-school operations and public service duties.
Essential Duties:
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and orderly library environment during after-school hours.
- Monitor library spaces and the parking lot to support safety during student dismissal and pickup times.
- Assist with Be Mighty meal service.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with general questions and directing them to appropriate library resources and services.
- Support library staff with other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Ability to interact positively and effectively with children, teens, and the public while enforcing rules of conduct and expectations.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods; lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; and bend, squat, and reach as needed.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. during the regular school year. Hours may vary during the summer and other school breaks.
Compensation: Starting pay is $15.00 per hour.
