ABOUT THE POSITION
Mammoth Sports Construction is seeking a talented and motivated Landscape Designer to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate is creative and forward-thinking, with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to thrive both collaboratively and independently.
In this role, you will contribute to design and concept development alongside our Project Architect, Landscape Architect, and Project Manager, while coordinating closely with internal engineering, construction, and estimating teams. Active participation across all phases of the design process is a core part of this position.
JOB LOCATION : Meriden, Kansas / Kansas City, Missouri

ESSTENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the design team in developing projects from concept through construction documents
- Assist in preparing initial design concepts, graphics, and presentations
- Produce drawings and documentation using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Research applicable codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards
- Coordinate with internal engineering staff to support integrated design solutions
- Collaborate with estimating and construction teams to understand project scope and design intent
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with project team members
- Assist with construction administration tasks and observe construction activities to understand design implementation
Qualifications
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and in a collaborative studio environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of site design, grading, and construction documentation
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt in an evolving design-build setting
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Zero to three years of landscape design experience preferred
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Landscape Architecture and/or equivalent comparable work experience
- Detail and design development, construction documents, construction administration experience preferred
- Understanding of Revit and AutoCad software preferred
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred
