Your Role

At the heart of a multi-year digital transformation, you will own the end-to-end technical architecture for global supply chain planning, shaping how demand, supply, and production planning systems evolve across a complex, regulated manufacturing environment. In this pivotal role, you will translate business strategy into a pragmatic, multi-year technology roadmap, bridging the gap between supply chain process owners and enterprise architecture. You will design and govern integrations across SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and SAP APO PP/DS, connecting planning platforms with manufacturing execution systems, third-party solutions, and reporting environments. Acting as the senior technical authority for planning architecture, you will define solution proposals, validate business cases, and lead cross-functional deployments from requirements through to hypercare. You will partner with business process owners, Centers of Excellence, validation, compliance, and cybersecurity stakeholders to ensure every change is delivered to the right standard. Beyond delivery, you will challenge proposals that introduce unnecessary complexity, represent planning technology interests in cross-functional architecture forums, and guide stakeholders at all levels through technical trade-offs with clarity and confidence.

Who You Are

- You bring substantial experience as an SAP solution architect or senior SAP consultant, with deep hands‐on knowledge of the SAP Planning Suite, including SAP IBP, APO PP/DS, enhanced PP/DS, and key satellite modules such as PP‐PI and MM‐PUR, as well as integration technologies including SAP Integration Suite, Business Technology Platform, and Business Data Cloud.
- You have 8 or more years of experience leading or supporting large‐scale business transformation and strategic portfolio prioritization, with a track record of delivering integrated planning solutions across enterprise applications.
- You combine strong knowledge of demand, supply, and production planning processes with the solution‐architecture judgment to design scalable, enterprise‐aligned integrations between planning, manufacturing execution, and reporting systems.
- You have proven project management experience across the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, governance, stakeholder coordination, risk and issue management, and cross‐functional program delivery.
- You have worked in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as biopharma, pharmaceutical, or medical technology, and are comfortable navigating GxP validation, compliance, and cybersecurity requirements.
- You communicate complex technical topics clearly to non‐technical stakeholders and are confident facilitating workshops, design reviews, and decision‐making sessions with senior business and IT audiences.
- A degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, supply chain technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, combined with experience working alongside software vendors, systems integrators, or enterprise platform partners in complex environments.
